While travelling, keep an eye out on sustainable practices that locals use that you can bring back home. When I lived in Europe, I learned more about sustainable practices that I could use at home. Taking reusable bags to the grocery was more common than using the plastic ones from the store; in fact, you usually had to pay for those. I learned that simply drying clothes on a rack instead of using a clothes dryer could save a lot of energy. Did you ever learn some cool sustainable practices while traveling?
