Respect the Locals

Respect the Locals

One way to be a good guest in your destination is to respect the privacy and traditions of the local community. For example, you wouldn’t take an artsy photo of someone at home without his or her permission, right? In fact, in some countries and cultures, you shouldn’t take pictures of certain people at all.  Asking locals before you take their picture is not only respectful but could result in a meaningful and interesting conversations and prevent making any cultural mistakes!
